Plan a visit to Bennington! Visit the Bennington Chamber website for a calender of events and local information.
Robert Frost Stone House Museum, Shaftsbury,VT. (15 minutes north of Bennington). Open late May thru December. Frost lived here from 1920-1929 and wrote "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening."

The Southshire Inn is located only a few blocks from the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, SWVMC, SVMC hospital.
Have dinner or lunch at the Bennington train station and see the old victorian train station in North Bennington. The stations are located on the old Rutland Railroad line. Summer tour trains rides provided by Vermont Railway.
